Are you a proven leader with a passion for hospitality and operational excellence? Captain D’s is seeking an experienced Area Director (ADIR) to oversee multiple restaurant locations, drive performance, and inspire teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The Area Director (ADIR) is accountable and responsible for planning, directing and leading the initiatives of their assigned area to meet and/or exceed performance and financial objectives of the company.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail industries
  • Proven success managing financial results and achieving profitability goals
  • Hands-on experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Multi-unit leadership experience or demonstrated success as a Captain D’s Operator
  • Ability to mentor, train, and develop teams
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain operational standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire teams with Captain D’s values and a #JustBeD’s attitude
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to brand standards
  • Oversee food safety compliance, cleanliness, and sanitation across all units
  • Maintain profitability and sales targets for your area
  • Ensure staffing levels and manage team performance, including disciplinary actions when necessary
  • Drive operational consistency and compliance with company policies and local/state regulations
  • Teach and model D’s Hospitality for team members and guests
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Continuous use of speech, hearing, vision, coordination, and dexterity
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements for extended periods
  • Occasional exposure to chemicals, cleaners, uneven surfaces, and use of step stools/ladders

Work Conditions & Hours

  • Minimum 50 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Standard restaurant environment with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures
