Salary Range: $70000 per year - $90000 per year

The Area Director (AD) is accountable and responsible for planning, directing and leading the initiatives of their assigned area to meet and/or exceed performance and financial objectives of the company.

Qualities We Seek in Area Directors:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail industries
  • Proven success managing financial results
  • Hands-on experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Multi-unit leadership experience or proven performance as a Captain D’s Operator
  • Ability to mentor and train teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Effective communication and response skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks

Primary Duties:

  • Demonstrate Captain D’s Values and inspire teams with a #JustBeD’s attitude
  • Teach and demonstrate D’s Hospitality to team members and guests
  • Maintain team awareness of Captain D’s procedures
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to Captain D’s standards and safety procedures
  • Oversee food safety rules and procedures
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of units
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and state/local laws
  • Maintain area profitability and sales targets
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Administer disciplinary actions respectfully
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Background Check and Valid Driver's License
  • High school degree or equivalent

Physical/Mental Requirements:

  • Continuous use of speech, hearing, vision, coordination, and dexterity
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and working closely with others
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods
  • Occasional use of taste, smell, and far vision; exposure to chemicals and cleaners; walking on uneven surfaces; use of step stool/ladder; lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds

Work Conditions/Hours:

  • Minimum 50 hours weekly
  • Variable days and hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Standard restaurant working conditions
  • Exposure to extreme conditions from equipment or weather
